The visually impaired facilitator should know the showdown rules and should be able to play it, in order to show and teach it to the ADD@ME Workshop participants.
At first, the facilitator can explain the rules to the whole group and can show for example how to serve the ball and how to defend it. He / she can also show what is the illegal defense or the body touch.
After that, a participant can try to play the game with the visually impaired facilitator. One by one, all participants can try. When everybody has tried to play, they can play against each other. The facilitator might also arrange some matches. At the end of the activity, the visually impaired facilitator can debrief the activity in the whole group. |
